Riders, Walkers Horse and Dogs will be "Pinked Out" on October 1st, 2011 for the Seventh Annual Pink Ribbon Ride and Country Walk. New this year is the dog division "Bark against Breast Cancer."
This fundraiser is sponsored by the Bucks County Horse Park and the Center for Breast Services at Lehigh Valley Hospital>
Our mission is to help the families and women patients facing this terrible disease and lessen their burden by way of personal grants for whatever they may need, medicine, therapy, and groceries.... anything. This is the 7th Annual Pink Ribbon Ride and has been a huge success with participants from all disciplines coming together to ride, drive, walk and run to help women whose lives are devastated by Breast Cancer.
The Pink Ribbon Ride can be enjoyed as a 4 or 5mile trail ride, where you set your own pace and enjoy the ride. There will be a 2 to 3 mile trail for walkers, joggers and dogs. Participant’s entry fees, along with other fund raising efforts will be donated to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center for Breast Services. This special occasion begins in the morning of Oct 1st at 8:00am with registration and a complimentary breakfast provided by Maria Taylor of Prudential Fox and Roach. This will be followed by judging of the most Pinked Out, dog, carriage or rider/horse team or individual. We have a Sponsorship Champagne Brunch starting at 10:30am with raffles and an award ceremony, honoring the Most Pinked Out and riders with outstanding contributions. Total monies raised by this event over the past 6 years is approximately $59,000.
All participants will receive a free T-shirt and all Dogs will receive bandanas.
We'll be there when a helping hand is what
they need most.
