The Bucks County Horse Park is proud to offer a wide variety of
dressage shows to insure that dressage riders of all levels will
find a show at the Park to suit their competition needs. There are
two annual Dressage Show Series; the Tuesday Evening Dressage Show
is a schooling series of eight shows every other Tuesday from May
until August. The Dressage in the Park Shows is a series of five
USDF/USEF recognized Dressage Shows. In addition there are two schooling
shows held in the spring and fall.
Tuesday Evening Dressage (TEDS)
Eight Shows are held each summer bi-weekly and beginning May. Dressage
tests offered include Introductory through Second Level, as well as
USEA eventing tests. Year-end awards are offered at BCHP for this
series. These shows are recognized by ESDCTA for their
year end awards. These afternoon/evening mid week shows offer a format
unique for dressage shows: on site registration, but this is a very
popular show series so calling ahead to reserve your time is recommended.
Tests are run in three rings from 2:30 to 8:00 PM and registration
begins at 1:30pm
Dressage in the Park Series - USDF / USEF
and ESDCTA Recognized
The Bucks County Horse Park hosts a series of 5
USDF/USEF/ESDCTA recognized Dressage Shows between April and October.
Tests are offered from Training level through to FEI. Upon request
we can accommodate other FEI tests of choice such as Young Horse and
Junior /Young Riders
Two schooling shows are offered in addition to the
Tuesday Evening Dressage shows and will run concurrently along with
the combined tests in April and October. Tests include Introductory
through Fourth level and also Musical Freestyle Quadrilles and Pas
de Deux. There will be a special class for those riders under 8 years
of age. These shows also offer a Fix a Test, where the
competitor rides the test once, then the judge critiques the test
before the competitor rides the test for a second time. A great training
tool!
